One of our main fields of activity is Suspension of Payments (Chapter Eleven) and Bankruptcies. Depending on the case, we have defended creditors or debtors.
Some examples are:
- representing a group of Swedish Banks in Suspension of Payments, which included dealing with the National Commission for the Stock Market and defending procedures in National Appeal Court.
- Negotiation with a national Savings Bank to avoid the execution of a mortgage amounting to 16,300,000 euros
- Reaching an agreement with another national Savings Bank to sell property and obtain the liquidity of 4,800,000 euros with which to pay the creditors.
